Meet world’s pinkest woman who’s worn and used no colour other than pink in 35 years

Kitten Kay Sera is officially the world’s pinkest person.
The 52-year-old from Hollywood, lives in a totally pink house with pink accessories and has worn nothing but pink for the last 35 years. If we didn’t know better we’d suspect she is Barbara Cartland’s secret love child.
She even dyes her dog Miss Kisses a soft blush colour – using vet-approved beetroot juice dyes.



Kitten is currently celebrating winning Ripley’s Believe it or Not ‘pinkest person’ title. With some pink champagne we imagine.
‘I consider myself proudly to be a pink flamingo in a world of pigeons,’ she says, adding: ”I am the world’s pinkest person and my life is devoted to that colour. Some people think I am weird but frankly I am fierce and fabulous.’



This level of commitment doesn’t come cheap though. ‘The pinkification of my world is a work in progress and its cost me over a million dollars and counting,’ Kitty admits.
To keep her in the pink, she works as a character actress, singer and TV personality and both she and her pink home are very much in demand from celebrities and designers.



‘I just finished a photo shoot with Paris Hilton. Ruby Rose, Ellen Von Unwerth have shot here and Beyoncé’s a pal also. Fashion houses, including Moschino, are constantly asking to use me or my pink home in photo shoots,’ she explains.



Speaking of her pink palace, she sleeps in a giant pink shell bed with pink sheets.

Her bathroom comes stocked with pink soap, pink bubble bath, pink towels and pink toilet paper. Every single utensil in her kitchen is pink. And of course she has pink shag-pile throughout.



 

Her favourite shade is soft pink, but she ‘draws the line at fuchsia’. Apparently, it’s too close to red.
Kitten had her pink epiphany in her late teens, explaining: ‘I gave all my other clothes away. My family thought it was a phase, but I am starting my fourth decade of pink power and am not looking back.

‘The experiment made me realise how much money I was spending on clothes I never wore, that didn’t suit my complexion and wearing just one colour made me feel strong and took the stress out of deciding what to wear.’
