So last week, thousands descended onto the streets of London for the annual parade of the London Pride.
The event which is about celebrating the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community had a lot of people in attendance.
More than 100 Met officers took part in the march, but two of them had to make an important stop along the way.
Amid the sounds of cheers, whistles and music, two police officers decided to propose to their partners.
