Heavily armed policemen has reportedly locked down Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s guest house located at Lugard Road, Nassarawa GRA, Kano this afternoon.
Kwankwaso is also the former governor of Kano State.
The development is as a result of the secret mass wedding of over 100 couples allegedly conducted by Kwankwaso’s foundation yesterday.
The residence popularly known as Lugard Hall to city dwellers came under police action Tuesday following reports that Hundred of the affected couple were trooping into the residence to collect their gift. In a reaction to the development, the KANO police Commissioner, Rabiu Yusuf through the command image maker DSP Magaji Musa Mania while confirming the seal explained that they moved in "to prevent illegal assembly “.
