A gang of thieves, consisting of two men and a woman who allegedly specialises in using voodoo to rob people was yesterday caught and beaten to a pulp in Calabar, Cross River State. According to a Facebook user who shared the photos and video, the incident happened at Parliamentary second gate in Calabar. The thieves who had been operating for two years, were in the habit of robbing people of their hard-earned money until luck ran out on them yesterday.
He wrote, “This evil people used jazz to collect one man 250k. According to dem the have been doing it but 2day God pass dem.”
When I probed further, the Facebook user who witnessed the drama said:
"They used jazz to change 250k to paper. The man was just coming out from the bank and stop a taxi, not knowing that is one chance.”
