Trending militant group, the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), has allegedly blown up a gas pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
The gas pipeline, located at Nsit-ibom LGA of Akwa Ibom State was blown up last night at about 11:30pm.
In a statement signed by the group’s spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Mudoch Agbinibo, the militants said:
“11:30pm on Sunday, the NDA blow up Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), gas pipeline at Nsit-Ibom L.G.A, Akwa Ibom state.
“NNPC should check their pipeline if it’s “system Anomaly.”
