Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has been removed from office by the country’s senate.
Rousseff was removed for manipulating the budget.
Sixty-one senators reportedly voted in favour of the impeachment today, while 20 senators voted against it.
Brazil’s lawmakers accused her of re-assigning funds between budget items and voted to suspend her in May.
He impeachment puts an end to 13 years in power of her Workers’ Party.
Acting President Michel Temer will serve out her term, which ends on 1 January 2019.
