A group of policemen have forced the #BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) group on a silent march to the villa to sit on the floor after they were denied access into Aso Villa.
It is 869 days since some school girls were abducted by Islamic militants, Boko Haram in Chibok, a community in Borno State. The BringBackOurGirls campaign group today embarked on a silent march to Aso Rock but were denied entrance into the villa by security men. Parents of the girls, including their leader,Oby Ezekwelisi were forced to sit on the floor in protest of the lacklustre attitude of the government towards the predicament of the missing girls. Policemen formed a barricade to prevent them from entering the Villa.
The group later marched along the streets in Abuja in protest. The demanded the government do something urgent to rescue the abducted girls.
