Who missed me yesterday?

So yesterday, I decided to take a little break. I mean sleep, wake up, walk around the house lazily with no care in the world. Thing is, I usually, hardly just give myself a break. So I decided to take the day off, after I attended a little party and drank a little more than I should have. Lol...t’was cool though...I had fun and most importantly, something really interesting happened at the party.

While we were just chilling, having fun, Iyanya walked in with and a beautiful chic and a guy. My aproko friend who was right beside me kept pinching me saying “so this is the babe Iyanya has been hiding from the public”...lmao! I was like "why do you think she is his babe? They could just be friends who decided to hang out together.” But my friend no gree o! She said “naaaaa why did he then hold her waist”? I didn’t see him do that, but I sha said ‘huh he did that?” “yes” she retorted! Fast forward to an hour later, we were just eating and drinking when Bimbo Akintola 'yes she was there too', stood up and played a prank on us.

She said the host was giving out a brand new car to one lucky person...hahahahaha yours truly was excited at the thought of winning a car so I adjusted my seat waiting for her to reel out instructions on how we would win the car. She said the competition was only for single girls. ‘Thank God I’m single, I am gonna win this car today’ I muttered under my breath, and even said a silent prayer to God. Hmmmmm...next thing, she picked that ‘Iyanya’s babe’ and said she has to answer some questions to win the car. I was like “ok...lemme wait for my turn". “Are you single"? She asked. Girl answered “no"! I said oh ‘’praise God I’m single so today is my day I must win this car”. Bimbo then said “oh sorry the competition is for single girls...meanwhile is your boyfriend here"? At that point, my aproko friend started laughing hysterically because she saw that as an opportunity to prove to me that, that was ‘Iyanya’s babe’ as she had earlier speculated. “yes” the girl responded...haaaaa at that point, I got really interested as the amebo in me was already itching for satisfaction. Bimbo then said, “please show us”!

Surprisingly, girl pointed at Iyanya’s friend who was seated by his left hand side. Bimbo then asked the guy to stand up and dude stood up. We all started cheering cheerfully. Suddenly from my ‘corner eye’, I saw a little black box (you know that kinda box guys put engagement rings in) in the guys hand. I’m not where it popped out from or how it got there. When we realised what it was, we all screamed in excitement. Dude went on both knees, (guess it was the tension) and popped the question. We didn’t even wait for the girl’s response when we started hailing and phones started coming out and just at that time all I was thinking was “my blog o lemme go and take photos for my blog”. Hahahhahahahha. I snapped away happily. Bimbo yelled out, “oh she just said ‘YES’ “. As if on cue, the DJ started reeling out some love tunes and yours truly went into paradise. I love love mehnnn! We all drank and said our congratulations and party went on. That’s the end of my story...
