Funerals have been prohibited in Benin, Edo State following the coronation of the new Oba of Benin His royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oa Ewuare 11. The post coronation ceremony will end on the 31st of December. So people will have to wait till January to start burying their dead.
