A 46-year-old personal trainer Jimmy Amutavi, from a suburb of Chicago has been arrested on charges of knowingly infecting three women with HIV.
Prosecutors claim that Jimmy repeatedly had unprotected sex with all three women, while deceiving them about his HIV status. It turns out, Jimmy was diagnosed with the VIRUS as early as December 2001.
He was charged with three counts of criminal transmission of HIV, a Class 2 felony. According to prosecutors, he worked as a personal trainer for all three women between April 2015 and this year, eventually starting months-long dating relationships with each. He has been released on a $150, 000 bail.
