Beautiful Nollywood producer/assistant director Ansa Bassey Kpokpogri is dead. She was in her early thirties. Ansa, a producer and assistant director who was training to be a movie director was known for movies like
Black Gold, Dawn in the Creeks, Mary Slessor, The Amazing Grace, Tinsel and other Africa Magic productions .

According to reports, the married mother of one was said to have died of pains from peptic ulcer. Ansa reportedly suffered from severe menstrual pain, a condition known as Endometriosis and peptic ulcer from her adolescent days.
Sources claim the pains started again on Sunday, after which she visited the hospital where she was given some drugs and advised to rest. She slept and never woke up.
It’s really sad, she left behind her husband and two-year-old daughter Rezi. May her soul rest in peace.
